In Adamawa, a prayer consultant defrauds an accountant of N277,000.
Suleiman Ibrahim, the accountant, realized he was being duped and took action against Brandford after Brandford had defrauded him of N277,000 over a period of time in several installments.
Suleiman Ibrahim, an accountant with the Yobe State Ministry of Finance, and Brandford, a resident of Ganye Local Government Area in Adamawa State, conducted the fictitious transactions over the phone.
Our source learned on Thursday that Brandford had promised to connect Ibrahim with a local physician based in Ganye, in the southern region of Adamawa, who would pray for a quick turnaround in Ibrahim’s circumstances.

Ibrahim was specifically expected to easily advance in his career and amass wealth.
Encouraged by these possibilities, Ibrahim continued transferring funds to Brandford’s account in order to fulfill his demands, which included purchasing chickens and rams to be offered as sacrifices.
Ibrahim, who had never physically interacted with Brandford, made preparations for one when he visited Adamawa State in August of this year, but it wasn’t until after a week that he was able to have Brandford arrested.
When he first arrived in Adamawa in August, he telephoned Brandford and requested that she take him to a local physician because he could not perceive any improvement in his situation.
Ibrahim was informed by Brandford, who has since been charged with a crime, that the local physician was unavailable because he had been dispatched on a mission by the Gangwari Ganye.
Ibrahim entered a plea of guilty to the charge against him, and the court, presided over by Mathias Nuhu, ordered that he be held in custody until next week, on October 10.
