Luis Enrique Plans Major PSG Squad Revamp Including Victor Osimhen After Club World Cup Loss
Head coach Luis Enrique is reportedly planning to bring in as many as seven new signings to bolster the squad ahead of the new season.
According to French sports outlet L’Équipe, PSG is targeting several key positions for reinforcement.
The club is prioritizing the defense, with plans to sign two new central defenders. Bournemouth’s Illya Zabarnyi is high on the list, with a €60 million deal reportedly close to completion.
PSG will pursue a second center-back if Brazilian youngster Lucas Beraldo moves on, as Premier League clubs have shown interest in him.

Full-back is another area PSG wants to strengthen, aiming to add depth behind Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes.
In midfield, while stars like Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Fabian Ruiz are expected to stay, PSG is looking for a more experienced option to complement the group. Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich was a top target, but after extending his contract with Bayern, PSG is now exploring alternatives.
Attack-wise, the club remains keen on Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, despite Galatasaray’s efforts to secure him permanently. AC Milan’s Rafael Leão is another key forward target, with negotiations reportedly ongoing.
The goalkeeper position looks stable for now, with Gianluigi Donnarumma set to stay unless a significant offer arrives. Manchester United is said to be monitoring his situation, but Chelsea have dropped their interest.
PSG will kick off pre-season in two weeks and face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup on August 13 — a match that could showcase some of their new recruits.
