Nigerian Music Singer Made Kuti Responds After A Man Scorns Him For Marrying An Igbo Woman
Haters have criticized their marriage, claiming that because of their disparate ethnic backgrounds, they are “mixing blood.”
The renowned Fela Kuti’s grandson, Afrobeat singer Made Kuti, has addressed criticism of his marriage to Inedoye Onyenso.
In November 2023, Kuti married Inedoye Onyenso in a civil ceremony in Lagos, as you may remember.
He encouraged those who detested him to educate themselves on the “history and knowledge left” by Pan-Africanists such as Kwame Nkrumah, Thomas Sankara, his great-grandmother Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, and his grandpa Fela Kuti.

Africa would benefit more from unity, he stated.
