United States to Deport 19 Additional Nigerians (See Complete List)
The United States government has added 19 more Nigerians to its list of foreign nationals who are scheduled to be deported for criminal charges.
The new update has increased the total number of Nigerians scheduled for deportation to 113, according to information taken on Sunday from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security website.
The most recent group was found guilty of a variety of offences, including money laundering, drug trafficking, violence, fraud, and sexual assault against a minor.
The people were detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and will be returned to Nigeria upon the completion of immigration procedures, according to information posted on the agency’s website.

Those on the list were foreign nationals with criminal histories who were arrested as part of continuing enforcement actions, according to the department.
Additionally, it connected the operation to orders issued by President Donald Trump, which state that deportation actions prioritise non-citizens convicted of serious offenses.
Nigerians who have recently been added include Adeolu Solabu, Oladayo Agboola, Chinonso Ochie, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime, Samuel Omorodion, Sunday Adediora, Sunday Kunkushi and Mkpouto Etukudoh.
Among the others mentioned are Marcus Unigwe, Kehinde James, Blessing Uchanma, Victor Adebisi, Richard Ugbah, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Oluwamuyiwa Olawoye, Okechukwu Amadi, Femi Jolayemi, Anthony Asanya, Izuchukwu Okoye and Ebele Agbasiele.
The measure is a part of a larger campaign by US authorities to target people with criminal convictions and unauthorised migrants.
