The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the registration deadline for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) admission process.
According to the latest update, registration will now be open until May 22, 2026, giving prospective Direct Entry applicants extra time to complete their applications.
Candidates who have not yet completed their registration are expected to be accommodated by the delay due to challenges in obtaining the required credentials and other relevant documents.
Remember that JAMB has already extended the registration session until May 8 and approved more certified registration locations nationwide.
The most recent extension further demonstrates the Board’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible candidates are adequately represented in the 2026 admissions process.
