Katsina Hisbah Board Bans Nightclubs, Citing Islamic Principles and Moral Values
The Katsina State Hisbah Board has prohibited all nightclub activities throughout the state, effective immediately.
This decision, announced by Hisbah Commander-General Dr. Aminu Usman (Abu Ammar), aims to mitigate immoral practices, safeguard societal values, and tackle security concerns within the state.
According to Dr. Usman, nightclub owners are required to close their establishments to prevent activities that contradict Islamic principles and moral values.
The board warned that violators would face strict penalties and instructed security agencies to ensure full compliance with the order.
Dr. Usman emphasized the importance of building a morally upright society and ensuring peace and security in Katsina State.
He confirmed that the board has informed relevant security agencies, including the state Commissioner for Internal Security, to enforce the directive effectively.
