Manchester City Reveals Squad for FIFA Club World Cup, Jack Grealish Left Out
Manchester City has announced its squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, and notable midfielder Jack Grealish has been excluded from the traveling party.
Jack Grealish, who has fallen down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola, has two years left on his contract at City and is keen to fight for his place. However, this latest snub increases the likelihood of a summer move, with a loan deal a possibility considering his wages.
The Citizens have called up midfielder Rodri as he steps up his recovery from injury, while Kevin De Bruyne is not named despite still being contracted to City until June 30.

New signings Rayan Ait Nouri, Tijjani Reijnders, and Rayan Cherki have all been included in the squad.
Manchester City will face Wydad AC, Al Ain FC, and Juventus in the group stage of the tournament, with their opening game scheduled for June 18.
The winners of the Club World Cup will receive up to £97 million ($125 million) from FIFA, with a total of £774 million ($1 billion) to be shared among the 32 participating clubs.
According to reports , the prize money for winning the tournament is substantial, especially considering it’s just for seven games.
In comparison, winning the FA Cup would earn a team around £3.9 million, while winning the Premier League could net around £176 million.
