JAMB Provides Applicants Simple Steps to Change Email and Reset Password.

For applicants who need to update their profiles or reset their portal passwords, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has established formal rules.

Do you want to update your email address or forget your JAMB password? JAMB has outlined the straightforward procedures that applicants should adhere to.

If a candidate forgets their profile password, they can simply reset it by texting “PASSWORD” followed by a space and their registered email address to either 55019 or 66019.

Individuals who have permanently lost access to both their registered SIM card and email are unable to perform a self-service account reset.

In such situations, one should visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre or office.

They will need your registration number, a current ID, and any supporting papers for assistance in recovering your access. Furthermore, the latest policy adjustments now permit regulated SIM card swaps or email modifications at specific centres.

This process happens following biometric verification, payment of the official fee, and submitting a court affidavit, when necessary.
