Nigeria Police uncover a pot filled with human hair and arrest the barber.
A barber named Emeka was arrested by men from the Abia State Police Command after they found a clay jar full of human hair inside his one-room apartment in Umuahia.
Police have reportedly found unsettling objects in the home of a well-known barber, putting him at the centre of an expanding mystery.
The barber, who was allegedly well-liked in Umuahia for his stylish barbing techniques, was brought into arrest on Tuesday by his neighbour.
The pot containing human hair and other fetish items was allegedly found during a police search of the suspect’s home following the arrest.
The barber admitted to owning the pot during questioning, but he was unable to explain how he used the materials or where he got the hair.
Many locals, however, have claimed that the hairs discovered inside the pot might have come from clients of the suspect.
Officers from the Central Police Station in Umuahia have now taken the suspect away for more investigation, but an official announcement from the Abia State Police Command is still pending.
